Papers focus on UK's most wanted

The grainy images of the four men suspected of carrying out Thursday's attempted attacks on London feature on the front pages of many newspapers.

"Find them" is the Daily Mirror's simple appeal, while the Independent labels the men, "the four most wanted".

The Daily Mail argues that the

priority in the short-term has to be to defeat what it calls "the enemy within".

'Shoot-to-kill'

The Daily Telegraph calls on the government to recall Parliament and enact 10 steps to make Britain safer.

Media attention also focuses on how to tackle the terrorist threat.

The Daily Telegraph outlines steps ranging from making intercept evidence available in court to "confidently asserting British values".

The Financial Times says incitement to violence against religious groups must be punishable at home and abroad.

Police chiefs' request to extend the length of time terror suspects can be held with charge to 90 days should not be dismissed, the newspaper argues.

Police guidelines for dealing with suicide bombers are also addressed after officers shot dead a suspect at a south London Tube station on Friday.

'Highly controversial'

The Daily Express says there are growing demands for the police to shoot all bombers and that they are being urged to show no mercy to fanatics.

The Financial Times says secret shoot-to-kill guidelines for armed police could be "highly controversial".

The Sun says an already dangerous situation should not be inflamed.

In other news, the Guardian reports a row among Cornish speakers about how to promote their language.

Thousands of pounds have been promised by the government, but campaigners fear the cash may dry up if agreement on how "Cornish" is spelt cannot be reached.

The Times looks at a call for children as young as seven to decide which parent they want to live with.

It would be an unwelcome step, the newspaper says, as the maturity of children varies enormously.
